Ankeny Parks and Recreation is getting ready to offer an extreme fitness.
Parks and Recreation will be offering P90X as a six-week course. P90X is well-known as a challenging workout as it combines resistance with cardio training for a full workout.
The fitness course will meet on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays from 5:30 until 6:15 a.m. at the Parks and Recreation office. The class will begin on Nov. 4 with its last day on Dec. 13.
Participants in the six-week challenge can choose to attend either eight of the classes for $75 or attend all 18 classes for $125. For those who don’t live in Ankeny but want to take the class, the eight sessions costs $90 or $150 for the full 18 classes.
