Spring has only just started and the country has seen vast destruction caused by tornadoes. The Central Iowa Chapter of the American Red Cross is urging Iowans to prepare for the season now emphasizing that preparation can be the difference between life and death.

“By preparing together for tornadoes, we can make our families safer and our communities stronger,” said Leslie Schaffer, regional executive director. “We can help you and your family create a tornado preparedness plan now, before our community is threatened by severe weather.”
